The common barn owl usually eats rodents, however their diet can be diverse. You may also find birds, insects, or even
crawfish among the normal bones.
Of the secondary pellets the Bargain Bag will have the most diversity, but still mostly rodent
bones. Bargain, Basics and Standards are secondary for the following reasons: The fur has been partly consumed by moth larvae
or ants or other insects, where the pellet landed and how far it fell can also affect the pellet. Any fur consuming insects
or their larvae left in the pellets when collected are killed during our fumigation process. For more on that process check
our our FAQ page. You will find our secondary owl pellets just as fun and educational as any of our Premium or Jumbo owl
pellets!
